Devlog v0.05 Situation


Okay, so, I HAD a good amount of renders set and ready for v.05 but... well, after some discussion with some peers and several others, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to work out for a small update.

I know I promised v.05 tonight but it just wasn't going to cut it for what I want to give you guys, which is quality and more actual story progression. This was... neither. It was pure fluff and maybe if I was a bit further into the story it would be fine. But after consideration, I decided it just wasn't worth it right now.

So, instead, I'll just be doing v0.05 as a normal update. With hope I can wrap it up by the end of May but I won't promise anything. The good part is this however! I'll be trying to keep on doing the improvements that I promised before (new UI, coding, music, sound effects and stuff) during the month. It probably won't be terribly long but I'll try and do my best for it so the overall experience of Dungeon Days will just be better :V 

Anyways, apologies for the failure on my part to recognize that what I was going to do wasn't worth it until the last minute. Hopefully, what will be next WILL be very much worth it for those engrossed in the story and characters :V I'll be seeing you in the next Devlog! :V

You have something here unique and you shouldn't rush your vision. I love the characters and the story, the X scenes are just a bonus. So take your time, one day at a time and you will reach your goal ! keep up the great work.

Well the old UI was always meant to be a placeholder. I'm hoping to change/improve the save/load and menu screens and also be able to access the options that the old UI just doesn't have (for whatever reason) :V
